"Smokey Joe's Cafe" is a musical revue showcasing  nearly 40  pop standards, including
rock and roll, rhythm and blues songs written by songwriters Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller.
Thesetwo songwriters, as much as anyone, virtually invented rock 'n' roll, and their songs
come alive on stage in the Tony Award-nominated production.  In an idealized '50s setting,
the classic themes of love won and love lost blend with nostalgia and emotions.    The revue
features some of the greatest songs ever recorded, including "Hound Dog," "On Broadway,"
"Charlie Brown," "Love Potion #9," "Jailhouse Rock," "There Goes My Baby,"
"Yakkety-Yak," "Spanish Harlem," " Poison Ivy" and "Stand By Me."

Produced through special arrangement with R & H Theatricals
