James Keith Posey will be directing the Sound of Music to open our season. More audition dates will be announced soon.

SHOES BLUES by Burton Bumgarner will showcase youth from our area, many of whom participated in the workshops held by the University of Alabama.

Audition dates: Monday, June 29, 2009 at 6:00 at the theatre. Selections will be available to read. Needed: 22 teens between the ages of 12-18. 22 teenagers needed!!! Now you don’t hear that very often!

Show dates for Shoes Blues are July 31, Aug. 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 2009.

Like community theatres everywhere, the quality and energy of the theatre casts depends on volunteer members who give their time and skills to produce the plays and do the work necessary to run a theatre. As a community theatre, we emphasize using and developing local talent. The majority of the members reside in the South Baldwin County area. Some members have past theatrical training or professional theatre experience. Most have had no experience but have a desire to participate and learn theatre skills. All of the members are involved with every aspect of theatre work.

We always have an open door for new members to try out for our upcoming plays. Even if you've never participated before, we invite you to come and try your hand at community theatre.
