AUDITIONS

Auditions for “Babes in Toyland” are at 6 p.m. Oct. 20-21 at South Baldwin Community Theatre in Gulf Shores. “Babes in Toyland” will be performed Dec. 5 to 7 and Dec. 12 to 14. Auditioners should come prepared to sing a short song and do a reading from the play. The play requires men, women, teens, young boys and girls. Mike James will direct the show.

Like community theatres everywhere, the quality and energy of the theatre casts depends on volunteer members who give their time and skills to produce the plays and do the work necessary to run a theatre. As a community theatre, we emphasize using and developing local talent. The majority of the members reside in the South Baldwin County area. Some members have past theatrical training or professional theatre experience. Most have had no experience but have a desire to participate and learn theatre skills. All of the members are involved with every aspect of theatre work.

We always have an open door for new members to try out for our upcoming plays. Even if you've never participated before, we invite you to come and try your hand at community theatre.
